Performance prediction of dual-paradigm and reconfigurable systems:  Created the Reconfigurable Computing Simulation Environment (RCSE) for efficient simulative performance prediction of RC systems.

Abstract modeling of heterogeneous and reconfigurable computing systems: Created the Reconfigurable Computing Modeling Language (RCML) for estimation-level modeling of RC applications and systems.

Research and development of new algorithm for automated scheduling and design-space exploration for large-scale RC systems.

Previous Research Activities

WDM fiber-optic network architecture analysis, modeling, optimization, and demonstration for aerospace platforms:  Design of simulation framework for analysis of WDM fiber-optic aerospace networks.  Analysis of WDM network architectures for modern naval aircraft.  Sponsored by the U.S. Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR).  Student project leader, 2005-2006.
