Parallel Performance Wizard (PPW) is a performance analysis tool designed for UPC and SHMEM programs. The tool features an easy-to-use interface and tight integration with GAS programming models via the GASP interface.
Update: PPW version 2.2 was released on 08/03/2009. This release adds support for GCC UPC (v4.3.2.4+) and brings a number of important fixes and improvements to the automatic analysis system, along with minor backend portability tweaks. Get a free copy of the latest version from our download page.
If you have Java installed, you can test drive PPW via this webstart link, or by clicking the picture of the wizard to your right. In order to run the program, you'll need to trust the application by responding to the security warning that pops up when you first load the file.
Sample performance data files are available by choosing Help > Examples from the menu bar.
If the webstart links above do not work for you, you need to install a Java JRE. To do so, please visit the Sun Java website and install version 1.5 of the Java JRE or higher.
