SRC-7 machine

Thanks in part to a generous donation from Altera, this SRC-7 MapStation is a scalable system for Altera-based high-performance FPGA computing. Our current configuration includes:
  • 3GHz Dual-core Intel Xeon
  • One MAP Processor, series H (two Altera EP2S180 user FPGAs, 64MB SRAM, 2GB On-board DDR)
  • 8GB Global Common Memory (GCM)
  • 4-port HiBar Switch (3 connections for simultaneous communications between CPU/MAP and MAP/GCM)
