Sigma cluster

The Sigma cluster consists of 10 Linux servers collectively designed to mimic a high-performance embedded computing (HPEC) environment for mission-critical deployed systems yet versatile and easy to use for experimental research. Each of the SMP nodes in this cluster consists of the following:
  • Dual 1.42GHz PowerPC G4 processors with AltiVec
  • 1GB of PC2700 memory
  • Dual Gigabit Ethernet controllers
  • 120GB HDD

  • Subset of cluster equipped with V4SX55 FPGA cards
  • Gigabit Ethernet
